Information to give us about the Swarm of Honey Bees

Please text or call us at 781-630-1129 with the following information:

 

  1. The ADDRESS where the swarm is located
  2. The Swarms LOCATION (in the bushes, on a tree or fence, et cetera)
  3. HOW HIGH is the swarm? Are ladders or other equipment needed?
  4. What’s the swarm’s SIZE (melon, basketball, et cetera)?
  5. TIME – How long has the swarm been there?
  6. Your CONTACT INFORMATION – a  beekeeper will contact you directly.

Have a bee swarm? You’re doing the right thing by calling a Middlesex County Beekeeper to help you. Honey bee colonies are dying in record numbers in Massachusetts and we’ll safely remove the swarm and give the bees a new home where they will have a better chance for survival. We offer a free honey bee collection service for honey bee swarms in Middlesex County and surrounding areas. Massachusetts Honey Bee Retrievals

We will capture and relocate honey bees to locations where they will be well cared for by a beekeeper. If you have honeybees around your house please call or text the Middlesex County Beekeepers Association Swarm Coordinator at 781-630-1129 to discuss your options.
